My Story
How I Began and Where I’m Headed

I have always had a passion for supporting women through pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding. In 2014, I attended the DONA International doula certification course and that opened my eyes to the world of childbirth education and supporting the birth process. In 2017, I obtained my Registered Nursing License and Bachelors of Science in Nursing and began working in the in-patient hospital setting. I have been working both on the Postpartum (AKA Mother-baby) unit and as a Lactation Consultant, supporting new families into the transition into parenthood. I still work full-time at a local hospital, but I love being able to provide my services once you go home and get settled in to your new role.
As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) I am offering independent consultation and lactation support services outside of the hospital setting. I specialize in creating personalized plans and providing the necessary tools and resources to guide, support, and assist you in achieving your desired outcomes with breastfeeding. Together, we will review your goals, concerns, and create a feeding plan that is personalized to what you need.
The essence of my work is to facilitate understanding by helping identify the source of the issues, so that you can feel confident in meeting your breastfeeding goals.
