Miranda Farmer RN, BSN, CBS, IBCLC
📍 Auburn, CA
I am a Postpartum (AKA Mother-Baby) Nurse, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and Lactation Consultant working both in the hospital and independent setting. I work with new parents on a daily basis, teaching the basics of newborn care and breastfeeding.
My credentials include RN (Registered Nurse), BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing), CBS (Certified Breastfeeding Specialist), and IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant).
As a Postpartum Nurse, most new parents I work with have never seen a baby breastfeed, have never taken a breastfeeding class, and some have never held a newborn. I provide comprehensive services to guide and support you and your family in challenges you may face with newborn care and breastfeeding either BEFORE or after you have your baby.

In-person & Virtual Services
I am currently only providing virtual consultations.
In-person
In-person consultations are preferred for consultations whenever possible. Hands-on teaching and learning is always most effective, especially with latching difficulties.
Virtual
Prenatal and breastfeeding consultations are both offered via Zoom, Facetime, or via the TLN portal. Virtual consultations are a great option when you have minor breastfeeding difficulties, questions, or prenatal consultations.
